at least I think that might be what you were talking about in the ghost, otherwise the blob was just a bit lucky since I'm not that good of a blob ghoster

MetroHematology uh what, the only thing weird on the ghost is the fact that I die right before getting the blob and still get the star, that's because polygon's mod, for some reason still counts ghost completions if you die right as you get a powerup
