Sir__Human I like drawing snow because it is very simple to design and doesn't require a lot of stylization compared to trees. The challenge with trees is knowing how many leaves to draw vs what you'll leave implied by the outline. I would suggest looking at pictures of snowy landscapes and trying to copy real life.
